The Old Man by Wayne Devlin

This is a a song request from Martin and Roisin who have recently, very sadly lost their father to the covid-19 virus. It's a very emotional song that I haven't heard before so it was my honour to learn and sing 'My Old Man' for the family at this very sad time. Val and I send our sincere condolences. Wayne x

This song request was sent in by Mr Wayne Shaw who asked for my single What Colour is the Wind. It's a lovely song written by Charlie Landsborough.

Smile by Wayne Devlin

This song request was sent in by Mr David Wood who asked for the Nat King Cole song Smile. It's a beautiful song that I hope you will all enjoy.

'God Only Knows' by Wayne Devlin

This song was requested by Andy Turner for his Fiance Lizzie, his stepson Hudson and his daughter Peyton.

'The Way We Were' by Wayne Devlin

Nic Simms emailed in and asked me to sing 'The Way We Were' for her parents Chris and Brian. I have never sang it before but gave it a go. I hope you enjoy it. Wayne

'Grace' by Wayne Devlin

Whilst I was ill with the Coronavirus Mr Dermot O'Brien wrote to me and asked me to sing this song for him as it is his favourite song and he liked my version of Danny Boy and What Colour Is The Wind so thought I could sing this too! So, I learned the lyrics whilst in isolation. Now I am back on my feet I have just recorded it for him a capella. I hope he enjoys it. It's a beautiful ballad and I thank him for asking me to sing it for him. Enjoy my take on the Irish ballad 'Grace'.

Wayne entertained his neighbours with a 4 song show on his street with all neighbours obeying the social distancing rules by staying in their own gardens. It brought some music and smiles for those in isolation. It was a lovely afternoon cheering everyone up with the power that only music can bring. Please see the two videos above.

This site is aimed at bringing the community together through the sharing of events, clubs and groups in one online space.

All About Trafford is owned and run by Wayne Devlin and was set up to allow anyone to list their activities locally for free, creating a central hub for event organisers to promote their events to everyone in the community. Through All About Trafford, the local community can therefore more easily find out what is going on in the area, at any time.  There is also space on the website for Trafford based Clubs and Groups.

On the pages menu, on the left, you can click the links to the Events page and the Clubs & Groups page to browse through what is happening in our area. I also hope you will email me with all your clubs, groups and events so that I can add them to the list.

There is also a Trafford Spotlight page.  Trafford Spotlight shines a light on a local Trafford resident or group with an interview by Wayne Devlin and a photograph featured on the Trafford Spotlight page. If you know anybody deserving of being featured on the Trafford Spotlight page then nominate them via email to Wayne and Val at devlinbookings@aol.com

The 'Trafford Celebs' page shines a light on celebrities who have a Trafford connection. It is a selection of famous faces that Wayne has interviewed for his weekly column 'Wayne's World' in the Messenger Newspaper.

Anywhere you see an advert on this website you can click the image to go directly to the advertiser's website.
